Weekly fellowship
Brother Frank Prano's Shepherding Trip Update from Paris:
Brothers in Irvine, I have been here in Paris for about 5 weeks and should give you some account of my experience.
Since the trainees left last Friday, I’ve attended a meeting at the Palaiseau meeting hall, specifically to shepherd the two Peruvian sisters who I’ve kept in contact with since last August (the week after they were saved and baptized). I was also surprised to find the Brazilian couple who have been in Luxembourg shepherding the new ones for over a month…
A good number of saints went to preach the gospel on the Lord’s Day after the table…
After the prayer meeting last night, a new brother I’d met before and I had some fellowship. He’s under 30 and has enjoyed brothers Nee and Lee’s publications for some time. He is rapidly becoming knit together with the saints here in the French speaking district of Villejuif… He’s agreed to go over the morning revival with some of us by phone starting tomorrow.
Finally, not intentionally but by the Lord’s sovereignty, during the gospel trip to Versailles, three couples from South America were contacted and were eager afterwards to be connected to a church in or close to their locality. One of the couples, after being saved and receiving the contact information for their locality in Brazil, didn’t wait for the brothers there to contact them. A brother from there told me that they called him! So while we’re here for the Lord’s move to Europe, He is adding to other churches too!
The brothers coordinating the work in the Paris region are involving me in the coordination with the brothers in the French speaking district of Villejuif, and I am learning French as quickly as I can.
